Services
One-to-Ones
Following the global Covid-19 pandemic, when therapists and the NHS needed to adapt rapidly to international disease prevention restrictions, online therapy and coaching appointments became the standard means for individuals to gain help, and the new approach opened up a wide range of therapies to an even wider population, the vast majority of whom preferred to attend appointments in the sanctuary of their own homes.  TALK Psychology approaches online appointments in exactly the same way as any in-person face-to-face appointment, supporting patients to connect via Zoom and guiding the session sensitively and professionally as if the client was ‘in the room’.
Groups
Research has long shown that therapeutic benefit can be achieved through group interaction between individuals sharing similar experiences. ‘Shared-experience’ groups of up to eight people are held in a private setting and convened by a TALK Psychology professional. Clients will be consulted, invited and introduced to groups where appropriate.
Webinars
For anyone interested in a wide range of topics around mental health and coaching, webinars offer the perfect balance of psycho-education as well as opportunity to put questions to experts and specialists during information-packed online talks and seminars. A full list of upcoming webinars will be published shortly. These will include; The rise of Narcissism: Another global pandemic? Sleep hygiene and mental health: addressing stress-related illness Art Psychotherapy online: coping strategies for self-help.
